Christmas Cards
Made these cards for RAQ's challenges, except for the black and silver...found the embossed silver paper at the local dollar store. Directions for the ornament card follow...
Bear with me for the instructions, sometimes I don't explain things too well, and the carts I used were not mine, so I am going by memory for what I did...
Ok...here goes...cut the foundation from JOTS that is in the shape of the ornament card...I cut 5 1/2" from cardstock. Also cut a silhouette (same foundation, ornament feature on with shift) from the cardstock, and cut 2 clear acetate circles (same foundation, ornament feature on, but no shift). I used an adhesive runner to give a continuous line of adhesive on the back of the silhouette piece and adhered one of the acetate circles. Run your adhesive all the way around on the acetate, making sure you dont miss anywhere...pour a little glitter in the middle, and carefully place the second acetate on top, sealing all the way around as you go to trap the glitter inside. Decorate the front of the card however you like...I used 3 layers of snow, and 3 buildings cut from Christmas/Noel Cart...two are 1 1/4" and one is 1"...Also cut the trees the same size. Emboss the tops of the trees as well as the roofs of the buildings (rather than cutting the snow layers...they are so small, I thought embossing was easier) Pop up some of your snow, and bldgs and voila..put the acetate and silhouette pieces on top, and I used rub ons for my sentiment...hope that made sense.
