Made both of these card for RAQ's card challenge this week...feel like I haven't gotten more than 1 card done each week all summer long...so this felt good. The colors on the sympathy card are also for this weeks Ad Challenge

50 Yr Anniversary Card

Made this card for an upcoming 50th Anniversary on dh's side of the family. The sketch was designed by Raquel (RAQ) Panos...and posted for this weeks challenge on the Cricut mb. Paper is GCD Studios, Zen Collection, and I have a renewed affinity for raffia. It was likely one of the first dimensional embellies I purchased 6 or 7 years ago when this addiction started...and I hadn't used much of it for the last few years, and suddenly I want it on everything...its cheap and really adds a nice touch to projects. Used OA for the 50, BB for the greeting, and G for the circles.

Summer Garden Party Tea Light Covers

Made these for the weekly challenge over at My Sheri Crafts...this week's challenge is "Summer" I love summer...the heat, the pool, the garden, cruising in our 69 convertible...long days, and most of all....NO SNOW!!!!! Ok, back to the challenge...these are so simple to make...1 sheet of 12x12 paper cut into 3 12x4 strips, punched at the top, embossed and then trace around your embossed design with a paper piercer, or a large needle, like I did...glue together and put over a tea light...simple and very elegant in your garden at night for those special get togethers with friends over the summer. If you have a summer project you want to share...feel free to post it here...we'd love to see what you come up with.

Canada Day Card

Made this card for the weekly challenge over at My Sheri Crafts...totally inspired by a gentleman we met while on vacation in Tennessee several years ago. When he found out we were from Canada, he had to tell us this joke, he thought it was hilarious...so I'm passing it on. Garden Art

Made this for my back yard garden. We got the doors free at a yard sale...they came out of an old church, and I knew exactly what I wanted them for. So we stood them up against the block wall that borders our property, and then dh bought a print in a frame, and I altered it...its not up yet, but will be hung on the door

Father's Day Challenge at My Sheri

Made this card for the weekly challenge over at My Sheri Crafts...everything I used in this card is available from My Sheri...from the paper to the Justrite Stamp (which I might add are all on sale at the moment) set used to create the monogram center. A friend of mine took in a grey cat and turned out she was pregnant...she recently had 3 kittens and I wanted to make this card for her. Flowers are from JBC, the buggy is from ZB, the grass is a quikutz die, and the words are rub ons. Tfl

Being Sick Stinks!

Made this card for this weeks RAQ Card challenge...I had seen RAQ use this paper pack a number of times, and I wanted it so badly (not at 19.99 though) Yesterday dh took me shopping at HL, and they had all their paper packs 50% off...woo hoo...so I grabbed it. I cut the skunk out and popped him up, the thin strip through the black ovals is actually the edge of the paper and you see in the background...letters are from Zooballoo and arrows from HD...oh...and the inside is stamped "feel better soon"

Spring Garden

This is the first in a set of three layouts for my scrapbook this year...Spring , Summer and Autumn Garden...showcasing the many blooms in my garden through out the season. The challenge came from My Sheri Crafts, and the theme was flowers...All the instructions can be found here as well as a supply list for the layout. Shower Favor Cake Box

Made this for the weekly challenge over at My Sheri Crafts The challenge was to make a project with Justrite stamps...Sheri sent me some, and I immediately thought of this box. I made the pattern myself with SCAL (found here on the blog in the box.net section). All the papers are Basic Grey's Two Scoops Paper... and the Justrite stamps for all the monograms...think how adorable this would look with a whole bunch of them forming a cake on a glass pedestal platter (so it looks like a cake) and used for centerpieces...you can fill them with candy, seed, tea bags, or whatever tickles your fancy and give them away as favors at the end of your shower...double duty...and lookin oh so cute. Thinking of You

Made all three of these card for RAQ's card challenge...boy, I am finding it hard to get all the cards done each week, now that the weather is so nice...but this week we had a lot of rain, so I did get them done. I had to make a sympathy card, so I made 3 thinking of you...which will totally work, seems we always need this type of card. Not much cricut going on here...the first card has a cut from SB...on the third card, the bflys are ms punch...first and second cards were made with GCD Studios Zen Garden paper and the last with a K & Company set I got for Mothers Day

Memory Game

Made this memory game for the weekly challenge over at My Sheri Crafts The theme this week was kids...now my kids are 18 and 20...so this was really a challenge for me...It's a memory game..you know...where you flip all the cards over (so you can't see the images) and then choose 2 cards and try to get a matched pair by remembering which card is where. I used Martha Stewarts Classic Woodland paper set...which was perfect for this project. All the animals were cut from various cricut carts. Complete instructions and supply list are here.

Wall Art- Bedroom

Made this wall art with Wall Pops for over my bed. In case you are wondering...that is my headboard...its an old window dh found in the garbage...and he painted it and tried to make it look old and distressed. Anyhow...I cut everything out in SCAL, fonts used were Black Jack for the cursive, Freebooter Script for the larger fancy cursive, and Geeves for the tall skinny letters. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out

Wedding Card

Made this card for an upcoming shower I'm going to...the bridesmaids will be in purple and the bride in ivory...hence the color scheme. I used Just Right Stamps that I got from My Sheri Crafts...and they were the perfect touch for this elegant card. I also got the patterned paper there too...isn't it rich looking...it is DCWV La Creme Stack...love love love this paper. It is so elegant. The scalloped circle is from SB...punched edge is the scalloped scallop punch, got that at My Sheri as well...hmmmm...couldn't have made this card without her products it seems...lol

Mother's Day Card

Made this card for My Sheri Crafts challenge...all the instructions can be found on the webstore, by clicking here and then choosing "sample projects" It was a card inspired by a beautiful bouquet of lilacs my dh brought in the house and set on the coffee table...I love lilacs...tfl!

Note Card Set

Made this for a friend from church...she asked for 50 notecards, and 100 stationery...whew...I'm very happy with the end result, and she was too. Found a box at the local dollarstore, that held them all with the envies and even matched in color. I think I cut out 300 roses from WIMG (tops and bottoms)...my poor little cricut was overworked those days.

Mom word Book

Made this mom word book for My Sheri Crafts weekly challenge...which was celebrating Mother's Day. Designed the pages in SCAL, and cut them from Bazzill Cardstock...then covered them with Basic Grey Paper, Gypsy paper.
